The Women In The Visual Arts HOSPITALART Program is a unique program in South Florida. WITVA Artist members create colorful paintings on canvas and donate them free-of-charge to not-for-profit organizations in Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties.
Our art is anonymously created by many hands. Each of our 18” x 24” canvases may be a complete painting in itself, or grouped to create larger murals. A list is available of the many organizations served by this unique program since 1999.
If you know of a deserving organization that would be interested in art work to help create a cheerful and interesting space, please contact us. Hospitals, clinics, shelters, nursing homes are examples of where we donate our HOSPITALART.
If you are interested in helping to create the art, contact us and we will contact you when we will resume our meetings.
For more information, you may contact our HOSPITALART Director Shirley Gelfand at: 561-417-7491
