I have a degree in Art and Art History and had a design business in New Jersey for many years. My work appeared in national women's magazines, e.g., Woman's Day, Family Circle, McCall's, Ladies Home Journal, etc.
Since moving to Florida in late November of 1998, I have been dedicated to developing my skills as a professional fine artist. This is my first priority. My work has been accepted for juried exhibitions sponsored by the Women in the Visual Arts, Boca Museum Artist Guild, The National Collage Society, Coral Springs Artist Guild, the National Association of Women Artists and the Cornell Museum among others.
The structure of my work is created in pen and ink, then embellished with pigmented and metallic inks, liquid watercolor, colored pencil and pearlescent paints. The latest works are in collage assembled from color xerographic components of my original designs and embellished with added color from various medias.
The newest works are collage from original photographs and the design and construction of dimensional artwork (artist's books).
