Lorraine developed her keen interest in the arts of the Far East when she visited Asia for the first time in 1987. Her work reveals the appreciation of Oriental motifs combined with her love of color and design. She incorporates these in her collages for which she has won numerous awards.
Her work has been exhibited at the Boca Raton Museum of Art, Boca Raton Museum of Art Artist's Guild Gallery, Cornell Museum of Art, Women In The Visual Arts Gallery, Amory Arts Center, Delray Beach City Hall, Palm Beach Gardens City Hall, Coral Springs Center of the Arts and other venues. Her distinctive collages are also represented in private collections.
After completing her studies at the Parson's School of Design, she went on to a successful career. For many years she was a textile stylist and designer for leading textile companies in New York. This was followed by establishing Bader Designs, a surface design studio creating designs, patterns and color direction for varied industries. Her accomplishments appear in "Who's Who of American Women".
