We fundraise to support high school art with an annual competitive exhibition with awards, and to award grants to art teachers in those schools to supply materials for their classrooms.
We hold educational forums relating to specific forms of art and present art exhibitions and competitions.
We also serve as a networking forum for our members and guests.
WITVA also donates group art to other non-profits.

Women In The Visual Arts was founded in 1989 as a 501c (3) organization by just a few women.
WITVA currently has over 175 members from all over South Florida.
